Shotgun Stocks - Traditional, Pistol Grip, or Magpul?

Solid piece of equipment but has some flaws in my opinion. I really appreciated all of the options this stock came with as far as attachments for slings etc. From what I've seen so far are two things, the bolt in the back that holds the stock to the receiver had come loose while shooting, it uses a phillips screw head which I find is not adequate.

I feel it should be an allen head or a torx screw head. I will use some medium locktight on it and see if that works better. The second thing was the rubber grip seems to slide down a bit after use as well. Overall I love the modularity of the unit and the additional attachments like the shell carrier mounting to the check piece is awesome.

My intention for buying this stock was I thought the pistol grip would allow my thumb to work the safety on my Rem P I'm a left handed shooter and there is no good way for lefties to reach the safety on s.

That thought didn't work, my thumb was no closer to the safety than with the original stock I ended up buying a left handed trigger plate assembly from Remington and fixed that problem.

I decided to keep the Urbino Stock because the fitment on the gun is perfect, it feels really good, and the shorter length of pull really allows the gun to swing and point much faster and smoother. The pistol grip is really "fat" where webbing of your thumb goes.

This could potentially be a problem if you have small hands, I'm a 5'8 smaller framed guy. Mesa Tactical makes great products and I give this one a "thumbs up" I could not be more happier with this stock. After looking at all of the options for aftermarket stocks for the pump I fell in love with the look of the Urbino from the pictures I saw online.

The stock lives up to the expectations I had. Easy install and La police gear had the best price with speedy delivery.

I think this is the best pistol grip stock on the market looks good feels good. Great fit, easy install, looks great, feels great Get one, you'll love it.
